Pentacle Pursuits embodies the mission statement of Twin Cities Pride:

"Our mission is to empower every LGBTQ+ person to live as their true self. We envision a future where all LGBTQ+ people are valued and celebrated for who they are." 

In traditional Tarot there are story archetypes that embody certain gender roles as strict and key aspects of interpretation. As a part of Pentacle Pursuits we strive to eliminate the gender binary, accepting, validating, and celebrating the spectrum of life in our tarot readings. It's an integral and valued part of our practice to embody safe spaces for curiosity, and encourage bravery in showing up for our authentic selves. The representation we will be able to provide this year means a lot to us, but it will mean so much more to patrons and guests of the festival.
